I know that there are usually a few days in late January and early February when we get a few nice days. This creates optimism and a better mood. This is really important because then the next couple months are the real test.

Finally when the first 70 degree day rolls around you can look everywhere and see a huge burst of energy. So I decided to take advantage of this great day to get some photos of some of the landmarks of the valley for a few new Community pages on my web site. Hello and welcome to my Blog. This is a new feature and I just had to take it for a spin. This is my space devoted to sharing with you some of my thoughts and ideas about the topic of real estate and other timely subjects.

• First of all I'm relieved that after what has seemed like forever. The national, state and local elections are over. Hopefully your candidate or cause was successful. My feelings about this whole process are that since what seemed like a multi year campaigning process the positive thing is that the pressure to appeal to the voters has forced them to be more moderate in their thinking and actions. I'm not sure how long this will last but I just don’t think extreme attitudes ether left or right help any of us. Secondly, does anyone have any ideas about what seems to be the norm in running for public office and that is negative advertising. I think they just waste a boat load of money and us the voters don't get any useful information for making choices.

Personal side:

Fall has landed! No kidding. Hopefully that doesn't mean No Motorcycling! Any time the weather gives us a break and you want to get together for a ride give me a call!
